A man who lost control of his car while driving and killed a motorcyclist had a seizure and has no memory of the crash, his lawyers claim.

Defence lawyer Gerard Cleveland told the West Australian District Court on Monday it was a 'tragic accident rather than a criminal act'.
Mr Cleveland said his client had a neurological condition called an 'arteriovenous malformation', which caused a seizure and made his actions involuntary
He was unconscious and unaware and therefore not driving,' Mr Cleveland said.
'He had an honest and reasonable, but mistaken, belief in his fitness to drive.'
Prosecutor David Jubb said Donovan was travelling 20km above the speed limit before he hit Mr Murphy's bike.
Mr Jubb said one witness saw Mr Murphy fly into the air as his motorcycle became jammed under the truck and sped up to about 130km/h to follow Donovan before losing sight of him.
A second witness allegedly accelerated to 120km/h to catch up to Donovan but neither he, nor his passenger, could get the driver's attention so they noted his licence plate.
Mr Jubb said another witness saw the motorcycle being 'spat out' from the ute.
Donovan was arrested at his home and later told officers 45 times during an interview that he had no memory of what happened.
The trial continues.

The moment rock star publicly humiliates woman for texting during his show – then APOLOGISES as she was checking on her daughter in a dangerous thunderstorm

A rock star was forced to apologise to a fan after publicly humiliating her with an expletive filled rant because she was texting at one of his shows.
David Draiman, front man of American metal group Disturbed, singled out mother Shannon Pardue during the encore of his band's recent concert at the House of Blues, in Texas.
Mrs Pardue, a Disturbed fan for more than a decade, was mortified when Draiman lectured her from the stage as other music fans cheered and booed his every word.
However, little did he know that actually she had a good reason to break gig-etiquette, she was in fact checking on her teenage daughter who was homealone during a dangerous storm.
In a video captured by another concert goer, Draiman can be seen laying into Mrs Pardue who was sitting in the balcony section of the venue with her husband Jason.
The singer, it appeared, had been keeping an eye on the mother throughout the show and accused her of not paying attention and being 'rude'.
He shouted: 'So what is so important going on in the world that you need to be texting the entire f***ing show? The whole show, you're right up front. I can see you
'It's clear as day, you've had your face in your f***ing phone the whole Goddamn show. Are we that boring?
'Don't tell me to go f*** myself, you already did that by not paying attention. I'm not wrong.'
Unfortunately for Mrs Pardue she could not stand up for herself and respond to the accusations because, unlike Draiman, she was not given a microphone.
Instead, she was forced to sit in her seat as the musician humiliated her in front of a packed venue.
In the video Draiman continues: 'Am I wrong? If you were up here and I did that to you, how would you feel? Seriously, it's f***ing rude
'If you don't want to watch, don't watch but don't stand there in front of the f***ing stage, in the front row of the balcony, where everyone can see you, texting the whole f***ing time on your phone.'
After the clip was posted online Draiman vented his frustration about the situation on his Facebook page, prompting Mrs Pardue to speak out and give her side of the story.
Once the rock star became aware of her reason for texting, he apologised for his behaviour in an interview with loudwire.
He said: 'I feel badly about it and I am sorry. I never want anyone to leave one of our shows feeling badly
'The whole idea is to pull them in and to make them feel empowered and sometimes you've got to be a little forceful when you do that and if she got rubbed the wrong way, that is something that I regret.'
However, the apology made little difference to Mrs Pardue who said she will never go to another Disturbed concert.
She told the Dallas Observer: 'Rock stars wouldn’t be where they are without people who come to pay for the show.
'Whether I had my eyes on him or not, I am still there and I can hear them. He’s an amazing singer, and they were good, but it was just his attitude. I’ll never pay to see him again nor will my friends.

USA To 'Return Stolen Nigerian Money'
US Secretary of State John Kerry has promised to help Nigeria recover "billions of dollars" of stolen government money hidden in US bank accounts, a statement by President Muhammadu Buhari's office has said.
Mr Kerry gave the assurance to the Nigerian leader in talks the two held in Washington yesterday.
"It's not easy to hide that amount of money and we are pretty good in tracing them," Mr Kerry is quoted as saying.
US officials would meet Nigeria's elite anti-corruption unit, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, to discuss the issue further, the statement added.
Mr Buhari has taken a tough line against corruption in oil-rich Nigeria since he took office last year.

A Nigerian with both male and female organs has reached out to SimonAtebaNews through a foundation for help. The 29-year-old Oluwaseun Samuel Fajilade, an indigene of the Ekiti state, western Nigeria, is a hermaphrodite who would love to keep his male organ only.
Fajilade was born on March 16, 1987, as a male. Between the ages of 12 and 15, women’s breasts began forming, replacing the normal man’s chest.
